Tournament of Defense COVID-19 Policy:

Our goal is to provide a safe and fun environment in which to learn more about constructing historical clothing and accessories and/or whack the crap out of each other with rapiers. Due to the ongoing situation with COVID-19, we have taken the step of retaining the services of a Certified COVID-19 Compliance Officer. Our CCO has helped us shape the following policies which will allow everyone to enjoy themselves while also mitigating viral spread:

* Our event is largely outdoors; our indoor areas are spacious and well ventilated.  We ask that all participants maximize their spacing as much as possible when outdoors.  We will, under the guidance of our CCO, arrange indoor classrooms so as to maintain CDC recommended social distance.

* We STRONGLY recommend all participants be fully vaccinated.

* In accordance with updated CDC guidelines, we recommend universal indoor masking (unless eating or drinking).  We will provide disposable KN95 masks so that all guests may enjoy an added layer of personal protection. 

* We reserve the right to request a recent negative COVID test to ensure the safety of all participants. 

* We will be implementing temperature checks upon entry. 

* We will provide easy access to hand washing and hand sanitizing stations.

* All classrooms will have hand sanitizer available for participant use.  Additionally, sanitizer will be available in the tournament area.

* Our CCO will be on site throughout the day to ensure adherence to defined best practices.
